KUBOTA CORPORATION - company history
The Japanese corporation Kubota Corporation, founded in 1890, is a manufacturer of a wide range of equipment. Initially, she specialized in the production of cast iron pipes for water pipes, later she began the development of internal combustion engines, which were used mainly in agriculture. In 1953, the company's management decided to create a division for the production of earthmoving equipment. In 1972, Kubota opened its first overseas office in Indonesia.
Today Kubota ranks among the world leaders in agricultural equipment, diesel engines and compact construction equipment.
The corporation is headquartered in Osaka, Japan.
